Description: The broadcast system at Ransdell Chapel located on the campus of Campbellsville University had long become antiquated. To update the system, JCA decided to go back with the Panasonic PTZ cameras in conjunction with a Tricaster switcher as requested by the campus broadcast department. For audio, the former Allen&Heath iLive144 console at FOH had seen its life span, and needed an update as well. The new dLive C3500 console with a CDM48 mixrack took its place, and to keep the platform consistent in the building, a dLive C1500 console was installed in the broadcast room. To create the split for FOH and Broadcast, JCA made use of the brand-new firmware update that allowed more than one console to feed from one mixrack. Utilizing a Giga-Ace I/O card in the CDM48 mixrack, JCA was able to feed all 64 channels of audio to the C1500 broadcast console for its own mix without interfering with the FOH mix.
