At the start of COVID, Cave City Christian reached out to us like many churches, ready to look into the world of streaming! After discussing the options, they decided the PTZ route was the way to go, but that was only the start. They wanted to make sure that their audio would match the quality of their new video system, but it would need some work to do that. The existing console was not user friendly, the pa had a buzz in it, and the stage was lacking connections to mic all of their instruments to get them into the stream! To solve all of their issues, JCA installed a new system from the ground up! Two small but
mighty Martin CDD8 mains replaced the huge, outdated cabinets, a Martin SX112 sub was added, and they were all powered by slick new LEA Professional amps. An Allen&Heath QU-16 replaced the existing mixer and four brand new Shure SLX-D units replaced their aging 600mhz wireless with one of them utilizing a THOR headset mic for the pastor. The result was a extraordinarily powerful small PA that was simple and easy to use, not only for in house, but for their new stream as well!
